In 2000, the park underwent a major renovation with new rides and attractions, including The Beach Party. Also, in 2000 they created their first special event called Wild Lights, which has been an annual tradition every December. This year will be the 18th anniversary of this event. Other events that have been added to the list are Wild Country and Kids Day.
The Beach Party is one of the newest additions to the park that was created in 2000. It features two different sections: a sandy beach with a lazy river flowing over it and a fun pool area with water slides and fountains. The lazy river at the Beach Party is modeled after an actual Caribbean island beach!
