california waterparks : The Best california waterparks I’ve been to Yet!
For those of you who have never been to Island Water Park before, it’s definitely one of the best waterparks I’ve ever been to in my life! Not only are the slides extremely fun, but the lazy river and wave pool are great too. My only complaints would be that sometimes the staff at the front counter will charge you double or triple what you owe them, which can really add up if you’re not paying attention to what you’re buying.
Introduction:
My name is Brianna and I am a 16 year old girl. One of my favorite things to do on the weekends is go to Island water park because it has everything you could ever want in a california waterparks There are so many slides that everyone can find one that they love, whether it be the tube slide, or the clear tube slide, or even just the regular ones with three lanes. They also have a lazy river and wave pool for those who don’t feel like going down any of the slides, but still want to enjoy themselves.
The rides:
I love the slides at Island water park. There are so many choices and they’re all so different. From fast and intense, to slow and relaxing. My favorite is probably the volcano slide because it’s dark and you can feel the heat coming out from it as you go down. The lazy river is also really fun because there are no lines for any of the slides so you can just relax on your tube and enjoy the scenery around you. There’s even a wave pool that has waves every hour which is perfect for those who want a break from all of the high intensity action.
The food:
The only problem with the food is that it’s pricey, but you get what you pay for. For example, the Cheeseburger Combo was $11 and came with a drink and fries. Compared to other places like McDonalds which are around $6-$7, it’s not bad if you’re looking for something tasty.
The staff:
I love the park overall and will be coming back. My only complaints are that the lady at the front counter overcharged me for a drink. My food was about 11 dollars for a combo and the drink was 4, so she charged me 7, when it should have been 6. That’s just not right, especially since I had already paid her once before when we went in. Other than that, my only other complaint is that my food was cold when it came out of the kitchen and it took a long time for them to bring it out too.
The price:
The water park is a little pricey. One of the cheapest things you can get is a combo which includes a small drink and one food item, but even that will cost $11. To make matters worse, the lady at the front counter overcharged me for my drink. She gave me a receipt with two drinks on it when I only ordered one, and charged me for both of them. It was an honest mistake, but she could have done more than just give me back my change. I understand this kind of thing can happen anywhere though.
