Remove all trash and belongings from the car
Even if you have the intention of cleaning out your car, it is often forgotten until the next time you need to drive it. It can be difficult to remove all of the trash and belongings from your vehicle, but with these tips you will be able to do it in no time. Here are some quick tips for an Indvendig rengøring af bil. First, empty everything out of the vehicle and place them on the ground near where they belong. Next, vacuum everything that you can reach including seats, floor mats, and door pockets. Clean off all surfaces with a damp cloth or paper towels. Then spray down all surfaces with Lysol wipes or any other disinfectant wipes available at grocery stores or dollar stores.
Vacuum the carpets, seats, and floor mats
- First, vacuum the carpets, seats, and floor mats with a small hand-held vacuum.
- Next, take out the seats and brush dirt from the seams where it’s hard to reach.
- Clean any crumbs or spills from the floor mats.
- Remove any trash or debris that has collected under the seats and in other hard-to-reach places like under air vents or near seat belts.
- Use a damp cloth for stubborn stains on fabric surfaces.
- Vacuum upholstery using an attachment hose (don’t forget about those pesky nooks and crannies).
Wipe down all surfaces with a microfiber cloth
The first step is going to be taking out all the trash that’s been collecting in the backseat and around the seats. I usually take this opportunity to vacuum, so I’ll be using my Steamgrønt Cleaner for that. Next I’m going to work on all of the windows. There are two different ways you can do this: spray them with Windex and wipe them down, or use a steam cleaner . The steam cleaner is less abrasive, but takes more time. Windex is faster, but it can leave streaks if you’re not careful enough. Once they’re done, I’ll start cleaning up around where people sit–the steering wheel and such–and then move on to the dashboard and console.
Clean all windows and mirrors
Wipe down dash and console. Clean out cupholders and trash with vacuum. Clean upholstery with steamgrønts solution or water and vinegar (spray, then rub in). Vacuum and wipe again. Lightly dust dash, console, and doors with duster. Vacuum seats, floor mats, foot pedals, arm rests. Wipe down cup holders. Wipe upholstery with wet cloth or crumpled newspaper wrapped in paper towels.
Dust and vacuum the vents
Taking the time to make sure all the vents in your car are clear of dust and debris is important for both comfort and safety. This can be done easily with a vacuum cleaner, or you can use a damp cloth and some water. Be sure to go over every inch of the dashboard, as dust collects there too. It’s also important that you don’t forget about the floorboard and seats – these areas are often neglected when it comes to being cleaned, but they’re just as susceptible to dust accumulating as other parts of your vehicle. To get rid of dirt on those hard-to-reach spots, try using an upholstery brush.
Apply a protectant to the dash and doors
Washing the exterior of the car is an easy way to make it look good and feel new again. When you’re ready, take out your bucket and sponge and fill it with warm water. Add in about 2 tablespoons of steamgrønt for extra power. Squeeze some liquid soap into the bucket, put on rubber gloves, grab your sponge and get scrubbing! Rinse off any excess soapy residue with a hose or by pouring water over it from above. Dry off any remaining wet spots with a towel or chamois cloth. To remove stubborn dirt from the windshield, try cleaning it with toothpaste or baking soda mixed with water before giving it a final rinse.
